To use the app, simply download it to your PC, Mac, iOS or Android device, and set the amount of time you want to spend standing. We recommend that you start with shorter stand times when you're just starting out. Once you've set the time limit, simply hit the "Play" button, and your computer or mobile device will alert you when it's time to sit and time to stand.
also counts calories
You can also enter your weight (in pounds or kilograms) and the app will calculate the total number of calories burned from both sitting and standing during this period.
works with apple watch
The VARIDESK standing desk app also works with Apple Watch. You can start, stop and pause the timer, which syncs with your iPhone. You'll also see your calories burned, as well as the total time spent sitting and standing once you're done for the day.
Then you can relax, secure in the knowledge that you'll be reminded when it is time to stand or sit!
